Dr. Chrisette Dharma

You'll never meet a doctor quite like Dr. Dharma! She completed her residency at St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas back in '99 and then went on to grow her small medical practice into the incredible Southwest Family Medicine Associates (SFMA). As the medical director, Dr. Dharma is passionate about using innovative technology in her practice. She's really one-of-a-kind in that she has her clinic recognized as a "medical home" by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) - an accreditation that only 1,500 clinics in the entire country boast.

Dr. Dharma has a "no stone left unturned" approach to medicine, which her patients absolutely adore. But she's not just focused on treating illness; Dr. Dharma truly believes that prevention is the key to being healthy. That's why she established an on-site wellness center in 2014 - to give her patients the tools and resources they need to stay healthy!

In addition to her work at SFMA, Dr. Dharma is also very active in the medical community. She serves on multiple boards, including the Texas of Physicians (TAFP). And, as if all that isn't enough, she's also an associate clinical faculty member at UT Southwestern, where she's been teaching medical students for over 15 years!

When Dr. Dharma isn't busy being an incredible doctor and teacher, she's a proud mom who loves spending time with her family. And, believe it or not, she's also a big fan of cross-fit and Capoeira martial arts!
